Who We Are

I’m Chris Schellenbach, a creative editor, assistant editor, producer, and filmmaker. I’ve been writing, directing, and editing shorts since I was 10 years old, bringing my strong sense of personal style and imagination to just about everything I do. I’m a recent grad from the Film Production program at California State University, Northridge with an emphasis in editing. Visual art is my calling, and I’ve spent the last few years developing a visual style that’s organic, original, compelling, and memorable. I’d like to help change the way people look at the creative and post production process by bringing a simple, streamlined approach to making memorable creations. I construct each project from scratch building each detail to fit into a greater vision or idea and bringing a keen eye for detail, and a creative energy that invigorates the final product. I aim to be unique, expressive, and accessible in my vision. I take a high degree of pride in what I do and stand behind my work.

I’ve been the go-to Jack-of-all-trades for various companies and clients like Sony Pictures, The Famous Group, Hornet Animations, Lighthearted Entertainment, NBC-Universal and a ton of other individual clients. I’ve produced, shot, directed, and edited projects from the ground up. Everything I do is custom to fit the needs of the creative team I’m working with. I’ve spent seven years learning and practicing my craft, working with all kinds of video formats for all purposes. Proficient in Final Cut Pro 7, Avid Media Composer, After Effects, Photoshop, Pro Tools and a myriad of other various techy software. I’m interested in utilizing new technologies, less tape, less film, and less waste to create a competitive, green, approach to growing fresh projects. I believe the best relationships are with people who appreciate the extra value creativity delivers.
